Hues in Motion

'Hues in Motion' serves as an archival exploration of photographs of abstract acrylic paintings crafted over a period exceeding five years from 2017 -2022. The collection comprises paintings as such, but also photographs of colour movements during the process of paintings. Some changed their appearance during the drying process or got cut up after in order to create a collage with other paintings. The pictures are generated through diverse applications of acrylic colors, including layering techniques and occasional employment of acrylic pouring. Within the series, the evolution of the paintings is captured, manifesting in a range from original acrylic compositions on canvas to photographic documentation capturing transient moments when colors were in dynamic motion.
